Maria Fought to Provide for Her Family Now She Protects Nature While Earning an Income

For years, Maria struggled to support her family using activities that slowly degraded the environment. With limited options, survival often came at the cost of nature.

Through support from Conserve Life Foundation, Maria joined a women’s training program focused on sustainable livelihoods and environmental conservation. She learned practical skills that allowed her to earn income without harming natural resources. Today, Maria supports her family with dignity while actively protecting her local environment. Her story shows how empowering women can transform both lives and landscapes.

When Climate Change Threatened His Harvest Knowledge Became His Strongest Tool

Unpredictable weather had made farming unreliable, putting food security and income at risk for many families in the community. Like others, James faced repeated crop losses and uncertainty about the future.

CLF worked with community members to introduce climate smart agriculture and raise awareness on sustainable land and water use. With new knowledge and practical techniques, James changed how he farmed. Now, his harvests are more resilient, his family is more secure, and he shares his knowledge with others. This is how community led climate action builds lasting resilience.
